Through the Eurolecture – European Programme for Innovative Academic Teaching German universities are given the opportunity to invite highly qualified young professors from other European countries to give new impulses of teaching at their institutes.

The Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. expands its support of science by establishing a programme for visiting European lecturers. The two priorities of Eurolecture are first, establishing a network between German university teachers and their young colleagues from other European countries and second, innovation in teaching.

Eurolecture supports personal international scientific cooperation. The visiting lecturers will be valuable additions to the German partners, bringing new subjects and particularly teaching methods to the classes. Eurolecture as a programme is intended as a contribution which will help German universities to become more international and distinguished.
