Fellowship for Cultural Innovation
The Fellowship for Cultural Innovation is an experimental form of cultural promotion which combines innovation and continuity. Through this fellowship programme the foundation is going to promote graduates from culturally related courses of studies throughout Europe who want to lead projects in European cultural institutions. The Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. is going to pay their salaries as trainees for two years. The Fellows get the opportunity to work on a project entrepreneurially and independently and, furthermore, to build up a network of their own. In this way the Foundation promotes innovation in European cultural life while at the same time making it possible for young graduates to enter professional life.
Application
European college graduates in cultural studies, cultural management, cultural journalism, and other culturally related courses of studies can apply for the Fellowship for Cultural Innovation, as can European cultural institutions who want to realize an innovative project and require financial support and personnel assistance. The institutions can make their own suggestions for suitable personnel. However, the foundation will also take external applications by interested college graduates into consideration.
