Elbehaus on Elbchaussee in Hamburg
The so-called Elbehaus on Elbchaussee in Hamburg is used by the Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. as a guesthouse and venue. On the premises discussion groups and meetings are held.
The Elbehaus provides a venue for the meetings of both the boards of trustees and the foundation board. Three times a year, scholarship holders meet at the Elbehaus to get to know one another and exchange opinions. The Elbehaus Talks are a regular event, hosting guests of both the foundation and the Senator of Culture Affairs for Hamburg, Prof. Dr. Karin von Welck, who enter into illuminating lunchtime discussions about developments in the city’s cultural life.
